About TeleVisitMD
01 — What is the service?
Through TeleVisitMD, NORBU's participating telemedicine practice: virtual physician evaluations that give an injured client a fast, documented first clinical touchpoint, often before they can travel to a clinic.
02 — Where does it fit within PI care?
Early in the case, when timely evaluation matters and the client may not yet know where to go.
03 — How does NORBU coordinate access?
NORBU intake routes the client to an available TeleVisitMD clinician. Where the treating provider recommends further care, NORBU coordinates access to participating services without a new referral from your team.
Independent licensed clinicians determine diagnosis, medical necessity, treatment, testing, referrals and procedures. NORBU coordinates access and operations — it does not make clinical decisions.
